Privacy Policy
Imatec takes your right to privacy seriously and wants you to feel comfortable using this website. We want to provide a safe and secure experience on our website. The information you provide in emails or when using our Helpdesk and Payment portal is only used for the purposes outlined below. The identity of anyone who contacts us through this website is kept confidential to Imatec. We don't rent, sell or exchange our contact lists.
Web Forms
All information sent by you in web forms will arrive at our end as an email. This information will be stored in our email server for reference purposes only for the purposes of that email. We will not copy your details into a database for marketing purposes.
Helpdesk
You are provided with the ability to edit the information stored in your Helpdesk profile. You can request that your user account be deleted; to do so, please contact us. Content such as invoice history will naturally remain even after your user account is deleted. Passwords to login to the helpdesk may be changed at your request by emailing us.
Registration for an account on this site requires only a valid e-mail address and a user name that has not been chosen already. You are not required to provide any other information if you do not want to. However, we suggest that as you are creating the account for us to help you, that you provide as much information as possible — otherwise we may not be able to fix your computer problems nor get in contact easily.
Payment Portal
When paying by credit card, our site uses security encrypted response forms when financial details are required. The security we use between your browser and our website is SSL (Secure Sockets Layer). To confirm that your browser supports SSL security, you should see a padlock icon in your browser's address bar. Your credit card details are only retained for the purpose of tracking who has paid from what card. We will not use this number again for any reason without your express permission — such as to reimburse you if you paid the wrong amount in error.
Other Information
As on many websites, Imatec may also automatically receive general information that is contained in server log files, such as your IP address and the time you visited.
Contact Information
Imatec will only send you communications that we feel are appropriate to the nature of your relationship with us. For example, if you are a current customer and we are updating our systems, we will send you an email to notify you of this update and any brief outage it may cause.
